Sasquatch is the first boss you’ll come across in Cyberpunk 2077, and talk about getting thrown in the deep end – particularly if you haven’t done Panam or Takemura’s missions in Act 2 yet.
Placide will give you a couple of hints: “Scan her right away” and “She must have a weak spot.”
She indeed has a weak spot – it’s on her back.
There are two ways to make this a super easy fight.
1. Use the Short Circuit quickhack
The Short Circuit quickhack description says “Very effective against drones, mechs, robots, and targets with a weak spot.” – and it sure does the trick here.
Using the Short Circuit quickhack will immediately destroy Sasquatch’s weak spot, drop her health to 69% (nice) and make her drop her hammer. Then you can just dodge and shoot your way to an easy victory.
You’ll need to have 6 RAM in your cyberdeck, assuming you use the Icepick daemon. So if you’re still rocking the starter cyberdeck and don’t have any spare points to dump into Intelligence for some extra RAM, you’re out of luck with this one.
2. Use a Katana
Hope you picked up the Satori iconic katana back in The Heist. Just slice away and you’ll be done in no time.
If neither of those are an option, dodge her attacks and her hammer will get stuck in the ground.
Use that as your opportunity to unload a weapon into the weak spot on her back. It took us about 10 shots with a shotgun before it exploded.
Sasquatch’s Loot Pool
This is by no means an exhaustive list, but this is what we’ve seen her drop so far in a few playthroughs:
- M-76e Omaha (Legendary)
- HJKE-11 Yukimura (Legendary)
- Electric Marble ultralight athletic shoes (Legendary)
You can also pick up the Sasquatch’s Hammer, which is unfortunately just a common weapon and can’t be upgraded.
